Carpentry in the Denver metro
Older Denver houses are rarely square. Walls bow, floors slope, and a stock cabinet set against them leaves a gap that gets wider the longer you look at it. Custom carpentry solves that by building to the actual dimensions of the actual room.
We build and install built-ins, shelving, window seats, fireplace mantels and surrounds, wainscoting and trim packages. We also hang doors — including replacing hollow-core doors with solid ones, which is one of the cheapest upgrades that makes a house feel more substantial.
Carpentry runs through most of our other work too: the finish trim on a basement, the cabinetry in a wet bar, the framing behind a new beam. It is the trade that ties a remodel together.

Carpentry FAQ
Can you match existing trim in an older house?
Usually. Older profiles are often no longer stocked, but we can have a knife ground to match the original profile, or find a close stock profile if you prefer to keep the cost down.
How long does a built-in take?
Most built-ins are a three to five day install once materials are on hand, plus paint or stain. Larger wall-to-wall units take longer.
Do you build decks?
Yes. We build decks, railings and stairs, and repair existing ones — including replacing rotted framing and decking.
Painted or stained?
Both. Painted built-ins are typically poplar or MDF; stained work is usually oak, maple or alder depending on the look you want.
