- Overview
Flooring and Tile in the Denver metro
Almost every flooring failure traces back to the subfloor. Tile cracks because the substrate flexed. LVP separates at the seams because the floor was not flat enough. Hardwood cups because it was installed before it acclimated. The finished floor is only as good as the preparation under it.
We check the subfloor for flatness and moisture, add underlayment or self-leveler where it is needed, and let material acclimate before installing. It adds a day. It prevents the callback that costs a week.
We install hardwood, luxury vinyl plank and tile, and we refinish existing hardwood โ which is often the better value when the original floors are solid and just tired.

Flooring and Tile FAQ
Should I refinish my hardwood or replace it?
If the boards are solid and have enough thickness left above the tongue, refinishing costs far less and the result is a genuinely new floor. We check the thickness and the condition before recommending either.
How long does refinishing take?
Typically three to five days for sanding, staining and finish coats, plus cure time before furniture goes back. Oil-based finishes need longer to cure than water-based.
Is LVP a good choice for a basement?
Yes โ it is one of the best. It handles the moisture variation of a below-grade slab far better than hardwood or laminate, and it is warmer underfoot than tile.
Can you install heated floors?
Yes, electric radiant mats under tile. It is worth doing in bathrooms, and the wiring is handled by our licensed electrician.
