Electrical Services

Izac Delgado has been a licensed electrician since 2016. The electrical on your project is done in house, not handed to whoever is available.

Electrical in the Denver metro

Most general contractors sub out their electrical. That means their schedule depends on somebody else, and when an inspector flags something, there is a phone-tag delay before it gets corrected.

A & I is different: Izac, our co-owner, is a licensed electrician. He does the load calculations, pulls the electrical permit, runs the circuits and meets the inspector himself. On remodels that keeps the schedule tight. On standalone electrical work it means you get a licensed electrician instead of a handyman.

We take on electrical work as part of a larger remodel and as its own job โ€” panel upgrades, adding circuits for a hot tub or EV charger, recessed lighting, ceiling fans and replacing failing aluminum or knob-and-tube wiring.

What's included

How the job actually runs.

01

Assess the service

We check the panel, the service size and the existing load before recommending anything, so the work matches what the house can carry.

02

Permit

Electrical work is permitted and inspected. We pull the permit under our own license.

03

Install

Circuits run, devices set, panel labeled properly so the next person can read it.

04

Inspection

We meet the inspector, and if anything needs correcting, we handle it the same visit where possible.

Electrical FAQ

Are you actually a licensed electrician?

Yes. Izac Delgado, co-owner of A & I Contracting, has held an electrician license since 2016 and does the electrical work himself.

If your panel is a 100 amp service and you are adding a basement, an EV charger, a hot tub or air conditioning, probably. We do a load calculation rather than guessing.

In most cases yes. Retrofit cans go in through a small hole cut in the drywall, and we patch and texture anything that needs it.

Yes. Panel upgrades, circuits, fans, lighting and troubleshooting are all jobs we take on their own.
