Aurora homes, and what we find in them
Aurora is the third-largest city in Colorado and covers more housing eras than anywhere else in the metro. Original Aurora near Del Mar and the Fitzsimons campus is 1950s and 60s construction. The southeast (Saddle Rock, Tallyn’s Reach, Southshore, The Farm) is 1990s through today. Between them sits every decade in between.
That range changes what the job looks like. In older north Aurora we are usually dealing with aluminum wiring, cast-iron drains and additions that were never permitted. In the newer southeast subdivisions it is builder-grade finishes coming due: the original kitchen, carpet where hardwood should be, and a basement the builder left unfinished. Both are work we do every week.
Aurora also has real commercial demand. Havana Street, East Colfax, Parker Road and the corridors around the Anschutz medical campus carry a lot of small commercial space that turns over. We do tenant improvements for offices, clinics, salons and retail, coordinated with building management and permitted through the City of Aurora.
One contractor for the whole job.
Old and new, same crew
Aluminum wiring in a 1960s ranch or a builder-grade kitchen in a 2005 two-story: we know what each era needs and we do it in house.
Commercial build-outs too
Tenant improvements along Aurora's commercial corridors, scheduled to your opening date and permitted through the City of Aurora.
Licensed electrician on staff
Aluminum wiring remediation, panel upgrades and new circuits done by a licensed electrician who also happens to own the company.

Remodeling in Aurora FAQ
My Aurora house has aluminum wiring. Can you fix it?
Yes. Aluminum branch wiring is common in Aurora homes from the late 1960s and early 70s and it is a genuine fire risk at the connections. Our licensed electrician remediates it properly, either full replacement during a remodel or approved connectors at every device. And pulls the permit for it.
Do you do commercial work in Aurora?
Yes. Tenant improvements for offices, clinics, salons and retail along Havana, Colfax, Parker Road and near the medical campus. We coordinate with building management and work after hours where the building requires it.
Which permit office handles my project?
The City of Aurora Building Division for anything inside city limits. Some addresses on the edges fall under Arapahoe or Adams County. We confirm before quoting and handle the permit either way.
Can you finish the basement in a newer southeast Aurora home?
Yes, and they are good candidates: poured foundations, full-height ceilings and plumbing usually roughed in. Media rooms, guest suites and home offices are the common asks.
